Crystal Beach is the beach which is considered the largest coral reef in the Tayrona Park. From a short distance, the ocean seems to have spots of different colors: turquoise, indigo blue, and deep green.

The beach was considered sacred by the Tayrona tribe, who called Playa del Muerto, because it was a place for special burial ceremonies. The beach is more commonly known as “Crystal Beach”, to sound more attractive.

The tours start at around 8:30 am when he picked up at your hotel and transported overland to Neguanje, a beach known as “Seven Waves” as it has 7 rows of waves that are constantly crash against the shore. You can enjoy the beautiful view there (Strong currents make it dangerous for swimming) and then take a 15 minute boat ride to Crystal Beach, where the sea is crystal clear and calm water.
